All City Strings Festival

Dear Parents/Guardians of Strings Students:
Strings students from across the district will be participating in the Appleton Area School District’s upcoming annual All City Strings Festival to be held at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center (PAC) on Tuesday, April 23 at 7:00 p.m. 

Tickets
All tickets should be purchased through the PAC ticket office. Ticket cost is $8.00. In order to provide equal opportunity for each family to see their student perform, each household can purchase up to four (4) tickets. The family purchase period is from April 1st- April 17th. All elementary and middle school students MUST have an adult present that night in order to perform. Everyone in the audience, regardless of age, will need a ticket.

Tickets must be purchased in person at the PAC ticket office or by phone. The PAC ticket office phone number is (920) 730-3760 and there is an extra $5.00 convenience fee charged per phone order. The ticket office hours are M-F 10 a.m. -6 p.m., Sat 10 a.m.-2 p.m. (Easter weekend: Friday, April 19th 10 a.m.-2 p.m., closed on Sat, April 20th and Sun, April 21st.)

If tickets remain after the family purchase period, the public will have access to purchase any remaining tickets through the PAC ticket office on a first come, first served basis. THIS EVENT DOES SELL OUT EVERY YEAR.

NEW THIS YEAR: Bags or purses larger than 8.5" x 11" x 5" will not be allowed in the theater and the PAC asks patrons to refrain from bringing them, return them to their cars or check them at the coat check. Exceptions will be made for individuals who have medically necessary items with proper identification or substantiation.

Parking
In an effort to alleviate congestion in the Green Ramp, located closest to the PAC, the City of Appleton is implementing an event parking policy for this performance. During Event Parking, the cost to use the Green Ramp is $5.00, cash only, at entry. Patrons will receive a validated ticket that will be needed to exit the ramp. This will be the only way to use the Green Ramp during the event. Please note that no credit cards will be accepted.

Rehearsal Schedule
In preparation for the festival, students will be bused to the PAC for rehearsals the day they perform according to the schedule below. Permission slips will be distributed by your child’s strings teacher. Please sign the AASD permission form and return it to your child’s string instructor before April 15.

8:00-9:30 a.m. High School Students rehearse
9:30-10:45 a.m. Middle School Students rehearse
12:30-1:45 p.m. Elementary Students rehearse
6:30 p.m. Students arrive at PAC
7:00 p.m. Concert begins
