Introducing Appleton North's New Look
The new branding suite for Appleton North High School introduces several impactful updates that enhance our visual identity and strengthen the focus on our core elements:
-
AN Primary Logo: The lightning bolt has been refined for a tighter, more dynamic look, allowing the "AN" to take center stage. Standardized outlines and drop shadows ensure the "AN" remains bold and prominent, with straight, clean lines replacing curved edges. The removal of beveling and the Royal Blue accent results in a modern, streamlined logo design.
-
North Wordmark: The lightning bolt has been shortened to highlight a larger, bolder "North." The font for the text below has been standardized for a consistent, polished appearance.
-
Alternate & Tertiary Marks: New additions include a "State" logo and a student-chosen mascot, "Mr. Lightning." The Mr. Lightning mascot comes in two versions: a full torso design and one featuring outlines of I-41 and W-441, with the Fox River crossing through Mr. Lightning. This design also cleverly places the tip of his lightning bolt over Appleton North when mapped.
These updates reflect a more unified and impactful visual identity for Appleton North.
