JERE KUBUSKE
Hello! My name is Jere Kubuske and the 2024-25 school year is my 2nd year as Associate Principal / Activities Director at Appleton North and my 20th year in education. Prior to coming to Appleton North, I served for three years as Principal of Holy Family Catholic School in Green Bay. I have also served as a high school science teacher and school leader at Green Bay East High School (WI), Cathedral High School (IN), Ben Davis Ninth Grade Center (IN), Bemidji State University (MN), and Tuscarawas Valley High School (OH). I am originally from Ohio where my parents were both teachers and coaches themselves.
I earned my undergraduate degree in Adolescent/ Young Adult Education at Walsh University in North Canton, Ohio. I earned my first Master’s degree in Sport Studies from Bemidji State University, then continued my education at the University of Indianapolis earning a 2nd graduate degree, this time in Educational Leadership.
I have been very involved in athletics and coaching in my career. As a part of the Cathedral Irish Varsity Football staff I coached Outside Linebackers and Special Teams. I have also worked with the Ben Davis Giants (Offensive Backs), Bemidji State Beavers (Defensive Backs), and Tuscarawas Valley Trojans (WRs/DBs). I have been blessed to be a part of 4 Indiana State Championships, 3 Conference Champions, 9-post seasons (in Ohio you must earn a spot in the playoffs), and the defeat of a top 10 Nationally Ranked NCAA Division II team. I have coached two NCAA Div. II All-Americans, sent several players on to college and professional athletics, All-State athletes, and several district/conference award winners. In addition to football, I have also coached Wrestling and Baseball.
I have an amazing wife, Sara, who serves as the Head Softball Coach at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. Together we have three children; Cooper (10), Adalynn (7), and Bexen (7).
