AASD

Registration Information

The Appleton Area School District requires enrollment for new students (4K - grade 12) and annual registration for existing students (KG - grade 12). Enrollment for the upcoming school year for new students begins in July. Annual registration for existing students begins at the end of May.

What do I need for Enrollment/Registration?

The parent/guardian should be prepared to complete an online application containing demographic information, emergency contact phone numbers, name and phone number of your child’s doctor, medical information, and language information.

After your child’s online application has been submitted, you may be asked to provide a birth certificate and immunization records to your student’s school.

Families can attend onsite registration events at their school if they need assistance with the online registration process. Students will receive their Student Handbook, class schedule, locker assignment; have their yearbook/ID picture taken; AP summer homework, parking permits will be issued to 11th and 12th grade only, bus information will be available; enrollment fees (if you have not paid online) and fine payments will be collected.

School Waivers Free & Reduced Price School Meals Family Application

Parents/students who, due to financial need, are interested in a waiver for school fees and breakfast/lunch costs may print a form or copies will be available in the Main Office.

The completed form should be returned during registration. Parents/students who received breakfast/lunch and enrollment fee waivers for the previous school year are reminded that a new form needs to be filled out.

If you think your student may qualify for a breakfast/lunch and text/materials fee waiver (which will not be determined until after registration), please do not pay the $40.00 enrollment fee at registration. You will be billed at a later date if you do not qualify for the waiver. Students approved for fee waivers must still pay for a yearbook or activity pass if desired. Fee waivers do not apply to either.

First Agency Insurance

The District will continue to work with First Agency, Inc. to provide parents/guardians with an opportunity to purchase Student Accident Insurance for the upcoming school year. Beginning with last year, First Agency, Inc. decided to discontinue the practice of mailing brochures to the schools. Their brochure/enrollment form is available online at www.1stAgency.com, where parents/guardians can print the PDF and enroll through the mail with a check or money order OR they may enroll online with a credit card.
